How to submit a listing

New Rental Listing Service is available for public use across the state of Iowa. This website is free and is designed to give renters, landlords, housing professionals, and social service providers access to detailed information about real-time rental housing vacancies. offers all Iowa Landlords, including those with affordable, asccessible, and special-needs housing, a free way to advertise properties while helping renters easily find units to fit specific needs.


As this service grows, the rental listings on our website will be eliminated.


To use our rental listings:

To submit a rental unit to be listed in our rental units section, please do one of the following things.


Send the following information via email to here: rental unit street address and city; date available; single family home or Apartment; Monthly Rent; Security Deposit Amount; Pets allowed and deposit amount; Contact name, phone number, and email address; Utility type and what utilities are included; appliances included; parking details (garage, private parking, etc.); and any other comments or special accommodations in the unit.


To submit a listing by fax, please print this form and fax to (641) 423-1624.


To submit a listing by mail, please print this form and mail to 202 1st St SE Suite 203, Mason City, IA 50401.


To submit a listing by telephone, please call 641-423-0897 ext 1 and have the above information ready.


Please inform us when the unit is rented by calling (641) 423-0897 extension 1.


The listings are updated weekly and will remain listed for 60 days.  The listing will be available to eligible Housing Choice Voucher program families looking for a place to live.
